"Come boldly to the Throne
of Grace"
Hebrews 4:16
"We never have to be afraid of God. "
We should have reverential fear, meaning that we have a respectful awe, of Him.
But God does not want us to lack confidence when we come to Him in prayer.
Read Hebrews 4:16.
Let us have confidence, then, and approach God's throne, where there is grace. There we will receive mercy and find grace to help us just when we need it.
A throne speaks of authority and power, and the word grace conveys the idea of understanding and blessing.
When you put those two words together, throne and grace in the same sentence, you get the perfect description of what Jesus Christ did for you and me on the cross!
We are encouraged to come boldly to the throne of grace so that God can give us His mercy and His grace for whatever circumstance that we are in, or for one that we will be in, in the future.
How can we approach God with confidence?
This is an invitation from God because He loves us so much.
Did you know that God is interested in every single detail of your life and that He loves to hear from you?
You will be surprised at how much easier it is to get things done correctly when you invite God into your activities and listen for His wisdom and guidance in all that you do.
You can have confidence coming into God's presence.
You know that you have been made righteous through the blood of Jesus.
So you now need to approach the throne of God with expectancy in your heart.
You can be expectant of seeing God's grace in your life.
No matter what battle you are in the middle of or what your circumstances look like, know that you have God Himself in your corner.
He sees where you are, He hears your prayers, and He passionately wants to be working in them with you.
Remember that you have constant access to God's grace.
So you can take all your needs and cares straight to Him.
God is there to help you when you most need it.
He desires to give you His mercy and strength, His wisdom, and His endless grace all the time!
We are called to pray without ceasing.
That means we can talk with God at any time and in any place.
You can chat with God throughout the day!
Thank you Father for your endless grace!
Thank you for inviting me into your throne room any time for any reason, just because you love me.
Thank you so much for making me righteous through the blood of Jesus.
Come into every area of my life and shower it with Your grace.
Fill me with Your wisdom as I make decisions throughout the day.
Amen.
